The language of God lives and speaks in the heart of every man. The Father has imprinted eternity in our hearts. We delve beyond the barriers of imagination when we hear Him whisper, “Anything is possible.”
The heart burns with refulgent hope to hear Him speak. Even if the mind cannot comprehend, the heart hears and ignites with hope. The Language of God consists of more than arbitrary symbols and sounds to signify meaning. His timbre touches every tier of existence. His syntax searches the hidden infinity of the soul. The tenor of His tongue brims and abounds with everlasting love.
The tenor of His tongue brims and abounds with everlasting love.
I hear you Father. When my heart swells with love, and the tears of joy trickle down my cheek, I know you are speaking to my soul. Even without words, You are speaking. And when I come to the end of my own strength, when I am at a loss for words to bellow boldly before Your grace endowing throne, I hear Your Holy Spirit intercede for me,
“Though your eyes close and thoughts race, though your prayers lay vacant like an empty home, though your ideas scatter in the whirlwind and you cannot think to express or comprehend yourself, I can hear you. I know the thoughts you are unable to think.
“When your heart heaves against your chest, when you’re oppressed with unintelligible agony and there is no interpretation for words, when your tongue is tied and you’re a man without a mouth, I am the Master of Meaning. I understand every intention of your heart.
Your pleas will pierce My heart and pull on the power of My presence.
“I will speak for you. I will plead your case. I will utter groans more eloquent than any tongue. Your pleas will pierce My heart and pull on the power of My presence. I will stand in the gap for you, and by My Spirit, make a way.”
